While scouring the internets looking for pretty things, Commune Design’s new Ticking Table Linens caught my eye, as did their post highlighting Louise Bourgeois’ textile designs — I didn’t even know she designed textiles. The inspiration is uncanny and thoughtfully executed.

This Vitra advert is pure eye candy. I wish it were possible to live with a spread like this on the floor. Our dog would carve out a spot right between the allsorts and the piles of books.

T-Magazine‘s Spring Design Issue just hit newsstands this weekend, and my jaw dropped when I saw the Studio Job Bavaria cabinet in a spread about a family home in the Georgia countryside. I saw the cabinet at last year’s Moss party during ICFF and was obsessed with it then but wondered how it would work in someone’s home. Now I know: Add a smattering of Case Study Fiber-Glass Chairs from Modernica, an enormous country style dining table, and a Droog chandelier, and the piece manages to unite the space.
