why so quiet?

March 7th, 2011 · 4 Comments

Because the first two months of 2011 have been crazy! I got a new job(!), and Ryan and I moved to New York City!

In less than a month, we packed up our entire apartment, scooped up the dog, and drove all of our belongings to our new home in New York — it was only after we moved in that we discovered the building had been featured in a 2006 issue of Dwell magazine!

So yes, we’ve been busy! And I probably won’t be posting as much as I used to, but don’t let that keep you from stopping by . . .

Hi Kim – Miggy and I were just wondering about you the other day. We were missing your posts. Congrats on the move! So exciting!

I hope everything’s going well! NYC will be so much more fun than CT!

had 27 in ’90. I think we need to see a four man rotation to have this recrod broken. I enjoy having it in the Tigers recrod books, though. So unless Verlander or another Tiger breaks it, I like the recrod as it stands now. I say Miggy wins the AL MVP regardless. I can’t believe that you wasted blog space mentioning the Worst Teammate in the History of Sports: Jose Canseco.

Your predictions are prtety much on track. I would just like to remind everyone of how ignorant and hypocritical the Red Sox and their band wagon fans are. For years it was always, The Yankees buy the pennant. or The bankees get all the free agents etc., etc. First of all the core 5 of the great Yankee run from 1996 until now all came from the farm system. They don’t just buy talent they fill holes. Now the Red Sox are cloning them. It’s laughable. If you can’t beat’em, join em. Just remember, the only place you’ll get 27 rings is in your dreams. The Phillies will win it all with 4 great starters. Good pitching beats good hitting even thoughthe Red Sox play in that softball park Fenway it won’t be enough.
