London Underground posters at the MOMA.

August 9th, 2010 · 2 Comments

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting ‘the city that never sleeps’. While that moniker is definitely fitting, I also found time to experience the amazing exhibitions at the NY MoMA. Being a huge lover of typography, I was especially taken with the London Underground exhibition. Created during post WWI London, the posters transformed the tunnels into centers of incredible art. With artists like Laszlo Moholy-Nagy and Abram Games this exhibit is ideal for a typography lover like myself. Take a peek at a few of my favorites, or go to the MoMA and check them out in person.

a commercial lesnice would have to be purchased before using I’m supporting a nonprofit initiative called Let’s Change India 2014 and I’m wondering if there’s any way we could use one of these fonts without purchasing a commercial lesnice. Thanks in advance for the response!
