Last night, Ryan sent me a link to a New York Times article he came across entitled “In the Catskills, Comfort in a Gingerbread House.” It’s about a woman who transformed a little hunting cabin in the Catskills into her dream Victorian cottage. And although I’m not a girlie girl, and my decor is more modern than shabby chic, I found it quite easy to envision myself at home in the woods – picking wildflowers, drinking tea, and lolling about in my lofted bed for days on end.
