don't forget your easter bonnet!

March 31st, 2010 · 1 Comment

Easter is upon us, and this year you’re ahead of the game. The Sunday dress is pressed and hanging neatly in the closet. The chocolates are nestled perfectly in their basket waiting for their imminent demise. Unfortunately, you’ve just realized you’ve forgotten THE Easter Sunday essential — the bonnet! But don’t panic! We’ve found the perfect solution, it’s part statement (OK all statement), part costume but absolutely fitting for the occasion.

See? We told you it’s perfect (although we suggest sitting toward the back of the congregation as to avoid blocking others’ views).

“Bunny Ears” by Shona Heath was custom made for a portrait of Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz, featured in The New Yorker last year. They’re for sale at SHOWstudio, price to be determined. And hell, since you’ve got the ears, you might as well splurge and get the “Bunny Feet” to match!
