Eduardo Recife

April 23rd, 2008 · 2 Comments

Brazillian artsist Eduardo Recife has been perfecting his hand-drawn lettering, imaginative characters, and beautifully abstracted backgrounds for over 10 years. His delicate line work, engaging color schemes, and clever compositions have recently made him one of my favorites. Enjoy the examples below, and click the links for Mr. Recife’s personal and commercial sites.

Beth, it’s cool to see an example of how snomoee used them!Danielle, hmm. Are you on a mac or a PC? If you don’t have a mac, I have NO idea. I’m helpless on a PC. When I downloaded the fonts, I threw the font folder for each one into the font folder on my hard drive. (I’m not using Suitcase or any other font management utility.) When I opened an application, some of them were there in the fonts menu, ready to use. Some weren’t, so I went back to the fonts folder and double-clicked on the font. A window popped up with an “install” button, which I clicked, and after that they worked. But I’m definitely not a troubleshooting tech person, so I can’t help you beyond that! Good luck!
