The Tenori-On is unlike any other musical instrument on the market today. The hand-held instrument has the ability to send and receive songs, mix music, and it contains speakers! It allows you to play both visually and audibly. As the user pokes or draws their finger across the 16×16 LED-button interface it creates a stunning display of white lights and simultaneously produces a unique electronic music — directly related to the lights. Activating lights in different areas of the screen creates related tones ( i.e., a button high and to the left may create a higher tone, while a button low and to the left may create a lower tone).

Currently being test-marketed in the UK, the Tenori-On is not yet for sale in the US. Expect it to run you about $1200 when it finally arrives.
